Q. I downloaded a workbook and saved the download file to my computer.  What do I do now?

A. If you have a Windows™ computer simply doubleclick your download and it will expand to a PDF file on your Desktop, unless you choose a different destination.

Q. How do I open and print pages from the download file?

A. Doubleclick on the expanded PDF file and it will automatically open using Adobe Reader™. If you don't have Adobe Reader installed on your computer, click this link http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2_allversions.html and follow the prompts to download your free version of the reader software.

Q. I have a Macintosh computer, will Ready Sets workbooks print from my computer?

A. Yes. You can either download the Mac version, which has ".sitx" at the end of the filename, or choose the PDF file. The ".sitx" version will expand into a PDF file. To expand the ".sitx" file on your Mac computer simply download a free copy of the expander for Mac computers from Allume Systems™ by clicking on this link http://www.stuffit.com/mac/expander/download3.html

Q. What is the PDF download version?

A. PDF stands for Portable Document Format. If you choose the downloadable PDF file it will open the workbook on your screen without prompting you to download the file to your computer, so be sure to click File and then Save As...  and then choose the destination folder on your computer.

Q. How do I print only one particular page?

A. Scroll through the workbook file until you arrive at the page you wish to print.  Click File, Print, Current Page. You can also print a range of pages in the same manner. 

Q. Why do some of the lines in the illustrations look thin or faint on my screen?

A. Due to the technical nature of the drawing software these thiner lines may not appear as heavy as others on the screen, however they will print just as sharp and accurate on your paper copies.

Q. Is this site secure when I place my credit card order?

A. Yes. When you create a new account, or log on to your existing account, a padlock will appear in your browser's Status Bar. Also, the URL address will show https:// which means that you have established a secure and encrypted connection with the Ready Sets server.

Q. How long will it take to download a workbook?

A. If you have a fast DSL or Cable Modem connection the average workbook will take less than a minute to download. A dial-up connection will take between 4 and 7 minutes.

Q. Can I order a workbook to be sent to me on a disk?

A. Ready Sets is dedicated to delivering the highest quality product at the lowest possible price. Maintaining this philosophy allows us to only deliver the product via download at this time.

Q. Can I buy a workbook if I don't have a PayPal account?

A. Yes. With a valid credit card you can buy and download workbooks even if you don't have a PayPal account.  During the order and checkout process you will be given the opportunity to open a PayPal account.

Q. I wasn't returned to the Merchant site after I finished the order and checkout process, how do I download the workbooks I bought?

A. Simply click the Store icon on any page and after the Catalog page loads log into your account.  You will see your order(s), click View to the right of your order and then click the download link near the bottom of the next page.
